Never Be Late Again with Clocky:

Clocky the alarm clock will make sure you're never late for school or work again.... With it's ultra cool design & technology, clocky jumps off your night stand and runs away from you; making you get out of bed to chase it. I found this product on the tyra show and was amazed at how easily the Clocky fell off the podium and ran around the stage; it's durable design allows it too bump into other objects and roll off with ease and hide under furniture. Although it must not be too enjoyable in the morning, i'm sure if you had the Clocky, you'd never oversleep again.

We all Have Our FML Moments....

FML is hilarious, witty, and true; told by none other than the people who are cursing their lives. fml, (f*** my life) is a site where people enter their top fml moments they had that day. I was instantly hooked and have been checking them frequently since July. Its always good to get a laugh out of others' misfortune when your having a bad day. Here is some of my favorites for today:

Today, I lost my phone. I tried to call it using my husband's phone, but couldn't figure out which of the three Kates in the contact list was me. Turns out, two are co-workers and one is his aunt. I was listed under Satan. FML

Today, I told my parents I wanted to try modelling. I decided that since I have such a low self-esteem, that it might benefit me, and make me feel better about myself and how I look. The first thing out of my dad's mouth was, "What? Why? You're ugly." Thanks dad. FML

Today, I realized my girlfriend has way more friends than I do. How did I realize this? She called me to tell me she was at the beach with her friends and how much fun she was having. I was playing WoW in my room, and my friends don't answer my texts. FML

Check out more of these at www.fmylife.com or submit your own fml stories.... who knows, maybe you'll be my new fav!

Who Doesn't Love Freebies on Tuesday?:

On itunes make sure to download your free songs & music video for this week:
Artist - Song Title
Neon Trees - Animal
Dan Black - Symphonies
Danton Eeprom - Thanks for Nothing
Compared to some of the previous songs released free to itunes users, these songs aren't half bad. Not many people know that you every Tuesday there are new freebies. It's like being rewarded for having iTunes on your computer, (and spending money on ridiculously over priced songs!). For those who have been living under a rock for ten years and don't have iTunes, don't sweat it. Download it for free at www.apple.com and enjoy having a place to organize your music files and create playlists, even if you don't have an iPod. It's an excellent way to keep track of downloads and bought music. (The Neon Trees album work below for a sneak peak!)

Formspring: A New Branch of Social Networking Sites

For those who haven't heard about formspring.me, a new host to many social networking site users, it is a site where questions can be publically viewed and asked from other users as well as anonymously. It can instantly sync with facebook & four other social networking sites like twitter & tumblr. Although this site is unique and quite clever, I don't think it would be a wise choice to open an account unless you are really ready to handle the negitave feedback you may recieve while being a user. Because people can post without you knowing their identity, you're  more likely to get hurt or have your self essteem lowered because of another user's comment. It's dangerous to one's mental health, especially teen girls. We all love formspring, but sometimes it doesn't love like us back. If you get one anyway, be confident in yourself while using your account and simply delete the negative questions or the account when something comes up. Well, since this is a review, i have been a current user of formspring for about two months; carefully observating. I noticed that I did have great fun posting questions back and forth with friends & reconnecting with old ones from my 8th grade year, but I personally came across some negative comments. I was taken aback, but i just ended up deleting them and continued my use. I haven't had many problems since, although my friends have some consistent haters on their page. It all depends on your personality and how you will handle the criticism.

The iPod Shuffle (3rd Gen) Review:

The new iPod shuffles have quite evolved since we saw the first model in 2005; becoming much more similar to the iPod Nano's latest generations; now more sleek and efficient then ever. But of course, not only the shuffle's appearance changed, but the capability as well. I really enjoyed using this iPod because it was so small and wasn't bulky like other iPod models, and was able to clip it to my jeans and listened to music while I shopped. Unlike any other iPod to date, the shuffle is heavily dependent on voice control and the use of the microphone speaker buttons, considering it has no buttons on the player itself, which can make it's use easier and more efficient while doing activities that require high mobility like running or working out. If your looking for a less hands on iPod, this is the iPod is definitely for you. However, if you have a larger music collection, I would upgrade to the 4GB for $79 compared to the 2GB for $59.

Excited for the Arrival of the iPad:

Although I am a PC user, you can tell I have a fascination with all apple products. What I am particularly excited about is the release of the iPad, (which comes out April 3rd) and all the new features it seems to offer. Apple claims it's 9.7 inch screen and touch capability sets it apart from any net book or laptop; all starting at $499. (Depending on your choice of flash storage; 16BG, 32GB, & 64GB) It is a paperless planner, a way to browse the web effortlessly, and a compact device that can hold all your applications. (and you'll have over 140,000 to choose from!) We all know that the iPod touch has a feeble battery life; but the iPad claims to last up to ten hours; a huge feat for a 1.5 pound machine. Here a small look at the revolutionary product below. Nano Shoots Video:

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the iPod Nano (5th Gen) now has a camera that shoots video. Score for the people who are looking to upgrade. And these would of course come in the various chromatic colors iPod offers. (pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and silver.) Apple also included a new feature: a built in FM radio, a new addition since the 4th generation. Also, a pedometer, a fitness promo from Nike that keeps track of your steps and helps you moniter calorie burn, etc. I'm so jealous that this new nano can act like a camera phone; and for the price of $149 !
